French Mediterranean Coast

We wandered around Avignon finding interesting places by heading towards spires that dominated the skyline. This is the Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes). To the left of it is the Notre Dame Church. All very impressive! Luckily the square is large enough to get far enough away for a photo. The church was being renovated so we were unable to go inside.
